A gallery of some of the work I did at BTB Events

Harrah’s Rincon Prize Punch Wall
One of the many props I designed for BTB that needed to be reusable and able to be rebranded was this punch wall. The original client was Harrah’s Rincon San Diego. In its original form it sat on a removable base so that it could be sat on a table or other platform when required. The cubby holes where covered by removable frames that a variety of ‘breakable’ materials could be attached to. Menu Placards & Signs
Often times the producers at BTB were in charge of outsources catering services for their events and wanted themed menus and placards to go along with the food service.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”370,369″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
Custom Bars
While at BTB I designed and helped fabricate (and repair/re-purpose) many, many bars. From large orders with Tacate to specialized glow bars to redesigning old, cumbersome bars to be more friendly (lighter, easier to assemble/break down, more adaptable) for our installers.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”366″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
LUSH Vapors Convention Tent/Booth
I helped one our event producers to design this convention booth in a very unconventional way. I also created the step and repeat, ordered the router cut signage, and designed the 3D letters at the booth’s entrances.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”365,359″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
Lincoln Memorial Housing Event Props & Backdrops
I designed three large backdrops and helped with the previs for many of the spaces at this carnival at Camp Pendleton put on by the Perfect Party. Wells Fargo Custom Stage Set
One of the large stage sets that I designed at BTB, this building block set was built for a Well’s Fargo corporate meeting. Dos Equis Monster Bash Backdrop Wall
A nightmare of a technical quandry, we created this foam core backdrop wall for a Dos Equis Halloween party called Monster Bash. My contribution was utilizing Illustrator to segment out the brocade pattern so that we could create the full scale images to send to the printer. We ran right up to the deadline on this one but we got it done and the final area looked amazing.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”1366,1371,1370,1369,1368″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
S&C Wedding Monogram & Collateral
One of many monograms that I designed at BTB, this one got more than the GOBO treatment that most got. Furniture Layout Renderings
One thing at BTB that I became quite skilled at was finding new and creative ways to utilize the lounge furniture that we had in stock. Assorted Custom Props
I designed and helped fabricate many, many custom props at BTB utilizing a wide variety of materials and technologies. From lighted signs to the patterns painted on cakes that people could jump out of, one of the greatest challenges at BTB was never knowing what the producers would have me create next.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”363,361″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
Custom GOBOs
One of the common products that I created at BTB were custom GOBOs (a metal or glass stencil placed in front of a high powered light). Sometimes it simply involved creating a vector or black and white raster version of a company logo while other times I designed the imagery or text from scratch.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”1374,1375,1376,1377,1378,1379,1380,1381,1382,1383,357,356″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
Assorted Custom Signs
Oh, so many signs. Custom signage is the unsung hero of special events. They can subtly enhance the theming of an event and are key to people finding their way around large events. Assorted Step & Repeats
Another staple of the event industry, step and repeat banners are seen at every big event in Hollywood and even became a popular sight at the birthday parties our event producers put together. Much like GOBOs, many involved simply getting logos print ready and organized but others, like the ones for weddings and birthdays, often included custom imagery that I designed.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”1354,1355,1356,1357,1358,1359,1360,1361,1362″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
Assorted Backdrops

Custom Draping & Canopies
